“BRAND NEW” Project
We discovered that many people are obsessed with their dogs but lack understanding of their emotional states. They dress them up, dye their fur, and take them to spas and salons, all while not realizing that some dogs become stressed during these glam-up processes imposed by humans. As such, we came up with the idea of developing a dye that allows dogs to express themselves.
How can dogs communicate what they like to eat, do and whom they enjoy spending time with? Our solution is an emotion-based changing tint, a temporary dye that enables dogs to express their emotions. Our goal is to bring humans one step closer to better communication with dogs.
One behaviour that we think Tiffany will most likely do is she will do a lot of research since this dog would be the first one she bought or adopted. Some platforms she might visit to gain more knowledge would be Reddit or Youtube.
Our brand name should sound friendly and calming, like a middleman that can help Tiffany understand her dog better. Our mission is to improve dogs' mental health and well-being. We created Pappy, a brand that aims to make your pup happy.
The main colour of Pappy is blue as we want to create somewhat a feeling of peace, trustworthiness and a bit laboratory, innovative vibe.
We choose to pair it with a more playful colour palette and typography. This is the typography logo for the product and this is our brand graphic logo for all other media content.
The product will come in the form of an aerosol bottle, when pressed, will release white, creamy foam that does not stain a human hand. Once applied to the dog fur, the colour pigments will then interact with the dog pheromone, body heat and movement to give off these colours.
Pappy Tint uses a special technology that makes sure regardless of the dog base colour, our product will be able to give off colour.
